Whether you need a containerized or skid-mounted dissolved-air flotation unit, MABAREX’s DAF is the ideal solution for equipment failure or additional production requirements. In the latter scenario, it serves as a transitional link between the equipment and a permanent installation.
To significantly reduce particulate pollution, the raw water is conditioned by adjusting the pH and adding a coagulant and a polymer to concentrate the pollution in the form of clusters suspended in the water, known as flocs. The flocculator then generates micro-bubbles that cling to the flocs, causing them to rise to the surface, forming a sludge that is gradually discharged.
