MTQ: a new facility at the Magog rest area
BLENDING HARMONIOUSLY WITH THE SCENERY
Mabarex reputed for its expertise in designing and implementing water treatment solutions for various rest areas, faced unique challenges when it came to the positioning of the new facility at the Magog rest area. Situated in a scenic resort setting, the plant needed to seamlessly blend into its environment while ensuring effective odour control. Moreover, the treated effluent, discharged into the delicate ecosystem of the Rivière aux cerises marsh, demanded impeccable water quality. To meet these requirements, the Ministère des transports du Québec (MTQ) enlisted the services and equipment of Mabarex to install a water treatment plant that would not only provide effective treatment but also integrate harmoniously into its surroundings.
